Plants.

They are amazing in many respects.

Although it has been known for some time how effective they are at cleaning the air in your apartment or home now a few studies have come out that prove just how amazing plants are in getting rid of pollutants.

One study involved three office buildings at a business centre in New Delhi, India.

The buildings in New Delhi had about four plants per person for a total of 1,200 plants for all the employees.

The effectiveness of plants in getting rid of pollutants was staggering to say the least.

Here they are.

Eye irritation dropped by 52 per cent.

Lower respiratory symptoms decreased by 34 per cent.

Headaches dropped by 24 per cent and asthma by nine per cent.

The study also reported that there were fewer sick days among the employees, productivity increased and energy costs dropped 15 per cent.
