Street Food Reaches Culinary Delight Status

skillets.jpg

Street food.

It's simple, easy to eat and some of the tastiest food in the world.

But now one company has taken street food to a whole new level.

It's serving high-class food at a street level.

The company is called Seattle's Skillet Street Food and customers are flocking to it.

The reason?

Excellent food that often you only get in a high-class restaurant but the prices are anything but high class.

No wonder whenever the Skillet arrives in Seattle neighborhood there is a line-up of people wanting the best at low low prices.

Take a look.

And this month this world-known doll turns 50.

But not only can Barbie celebrate her 50th. but she can bask in the glory of being the world's most popular doll.

The New York Times even has referred to her as a piece of pop art.

One company, in honour of her birthday, is selling a limited collection of Barbie at $500 (U.S.).

Who would have thought that to be the case?

No word about her sidekick, Ken, and his age.

It's All About Chocolate

thorntons.jpg

We love great and memorable advertising.

The reason?

There is so little that is great.

The majority of it is banal and totally ineffective.

Here is one spot that is great and memorable.

It's the marriage between Thornstons, a mass-market chocolatier in the U.K., and an independent and highly talented filmmaker, Harmony Korine.

The result is pretty compelling.

See it here.

Lemar - Below The Radar

Lemar.

He is British and has had some hits in that country and also in Europe and Australia.

He is not a big star and in North America he is a bit of an unknown.

But despite that we like what we hear when he does his bit.

Give a listen.
