Local Recipes That Are Unique And Outstanding

gallette.jpg

Recipes.

They are a dime a dozen.

You can find them everywhere, in books, in newspapers, in magazines and of course, on the internet.

But there is a problem.

A lot of them are alike. There is nothing different and unique about them.

But all is not lost.

If you are looking for something different, you can find it right here in Vancouver.

It is a food blog with the unlikely name of, Everybody Likes Sandwiches.

But the blog is anything but about sandwiches.

Its motto is - an uncomplicated journal about food...not just sandwiches.

How true.

Check out some of the killer recipes.

Real Style, Real People

omiru.jpg

Fashion.

A lot of it is designed for models and stars.

Items meant for the perfect body and not for the majority.

Often it becomes a branding exercise designed to contribute to the image and brand of a particular designer.

So it raises the question what if any fashion can one wear?

Fear not, there is an answer.

It's a website - Omiru.

It helps you figure out what looks good on you.

Omiru's focus is on what's practical for you, instead of what's glamorous and trendy.

But practical doesn't mean dowdy and frumpy.
